Mama Elephant: Bella Letters

I love customizing cards. Mama Elephant's new Bella Letters  stamp set is perfect for doing just that. This sweet baby card uses the banner from Bloomsies  to frame the name I stamped with Bella Letters. The grass was inked up with a mask I created from Grassy Trio . The adorable squirrel and star are from Woodland Gifts  and the sentiment is from Shooting Star . I love how all of these dies and stamp sets work so effortlessly together.  What stamps sets are on your wish list from this release?

Mama Elephant: Small Talk

Did you know ants are adorable? Well, you will after you see this new stamp set from Mama Elephant . ;) I love how they are always thinkin' outside of the box.  My card today has all sort of layers, inspired by my son's ant farm. :) I build a little scene on a journaling card, die cut from Peek a Frame . One little joyous ant was stamped on top of a log from Woodland Gifts . I used Copics to color the log, ants and shade blue around the scene to make things pop. Next I put in some grass die cut with Grassy Trio  and Landscape Trio . I inked in a "ground floor" with a mask made from Landscape Trio and stamped three more ants. Aren't they the best?! The scene needed a little more color so I added a few layers of journaling cards, die cut with the same Peek a Frame die I used for the scene. I stamped the grey card stock with Zenith Borders  to add a little interest. Finally, I mounted the whole thing on a card panel cut from Peek a Frame  that

Mama Elephant: Woodland Gifts

Hi! Welcome to Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight weekend. This release is awesome and I'm so excited to share the new Woodland Gifts stamp set today. This stamp set was illustrated by the super talented Elena Roussakis . I know you'll adore these animals just like I do! For my card I started with a base cut from Sew Fancy . I knew I was going to frame out a scene but wanted to extend the scene beyond the frame so I added the tall grass cut with the new Grass Trio . Next I worked on the scene, starting with stamping, coloring and die cutting the animals from Woodland Gifts . Next I die cut a white background with Starburst Cover . I made sure my "sandwich" wasn't too tight so the stars would stay in, then lightly colored them with Copics. Finally I stamped the log and mushroom in Moonlight  and shaded them in to create a soft background. I mentioned in my last post that I LOVE making my own die cut frames. Today I have another combo for you (be sure t

Mama Elephant May Stampede

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com The stamps sets being released this month are AMAZING! So many great stamp sets...dies...I love it all! Today I get to share Bella Letters with you. I also used Woodland Gifts (eeep, did someone say cute animals?!?!) I'm finally putting my Favorite Prints  board on Pinterest to work. I picked a fun saying and stamped it out using the Bella Letters! The bunny, from Woodland Gifts, helps out by adding the "heart" to the saying. LOVE this bunny! To create the grass in the background I created a mask using the new grass dies coming out this month.  Finally, I created a frame to surround my little scene. I enjoy mixing dies and using them in as many ways as possible. So here is my new favorite combo. I die cut the journaling card die from Peek a Frame  with the polariod die from Instalove . It
