Paper Smooches: Kudos Dies

Today's card features Paper Smooches Kudos Dies . I've used these dies several times this release because they are so fun (especially with the stamp set that matches!). To feature the dies I thought it would be fun to use the "handsome" die along with "you are" (which also matches a few other words in the set). I just got back from a trip to NYC when I made this card so I was in the mood for something trendy and urban.  ' I cute the small panel of patterned paper and die cut the word "handsome" from it. Then I die cut "handsome" again 3 times from dark teal cardstock to layer over it. Do you see the small die cut shadow? The city die, from Backdrop Builders  added a masculine touch and "dude" from Teen Routine . Thanks for stopping by today!

Bella Blvd: Inspiration Week - Christmas Cheer

What a week, right? Have you been keeping up with all the amazing projects on the Bella Blvd blog ? Today is the last day of Inspiration Week, were the Bella team is sharing projects using the newest release. Here is a peek at the new Christmas Cheer collection. I grouped and layered together a few stickers with a die cut tab and some washi tape. Once I had my little collage I picked paper to layer behind it. I'm pretty sure those Christmas trees are my favorite! Be sure to check out the other projects using this amazing collection and enter the Inspiration Week GIVEAWAY HERE ! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Bella Blvd: Inspiration Week - Halloween Magic

It's been so fun sharing my projects for Bella Blvd's Summer Release this week. Next up is Halloween Magic! I created this card using the journaling card patterned paper, Daily Details. Instead of triming out the card, I measured and cut the paper to cover my card from in one piece. Now the partial cards around my focal sentiment act as a border. I love how this brings all the colors of the collection together.  I finished the card with a few stickers. Easy and simple. Check out the rest of the inspiration on the Bella Blvd HERE .

Little Tangles: Challenge 41 - Stencils

Stencils are SO trendy right now. How many do you have in your collection? I'll be honest, I have one. :) But no matter how many you have it's time to get them out for the latest Neat & Tangled challenge over at Little Tangles! I stamped a sentiment from two sets ( Sparkle & Shine  and You + Me ). For the background I just winging it and added some Distress Ink randomly over the polka dot stencil. A little patterned paper brightened everything up! I hope you'll take a little break this summer and join the challenge! Details are HERE .

Bella Blvd: Inspiration Week - Hello Autumn

I'm back today with more inspiration for the upcoming new Bella Blvd collection. Yay! This one is SO pretty! Hello Autumn has the best, most stylish patterns. I'd love to decorate my home with these papers! :) Since I'm in love with these patterns I started my card with one of them. I added a few die cut shapes, stickers and washi tape on top of the pattern to create a clustered focal point. I can't wait to make another card with this collection!  For more inspiration with this collection visit the Bella Blvd blog HERE . Thanks for stopping by!

Bella Blvd: Inspiration Week - Tiny Tots

I'm excited to share my projects featuring the new Bella Blvd Tiny Tots collection (shipping Sept 1st). There are THE best flash cards for every letter in the alphabet! I'm going to have to make some flash card for my kids. :)  For my card I chose one card and added a little sticker to make a sweet sentiment. I love the trend of mixing pastels with bold colors I've been seeing lately. I added the orange star for a pop of color that also ties in to the background paper. Next up, I used a journaling card and layered several of the patterned papers from the collection. I stitched around the final layer and added a few stickers at the top. Here is a peek at a few of the pattern papers up close! I can't wait to use them again and again! Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant: JFF Sunday

Is there a stamp set you just can't put down? For me, it's Origami by Mama Elephant.  I've used it several times...a sentiment HERE , the bear HERE , more sentiments HERE .... :) Well, I needed to use cat in the set next so I made this card just for fun! I layered lots of Crate Paper products and die cut a star from Cardbooking . The cat is paper pieced. I cut the head out separately so I could tilt it slightly to add a little extra personality. ;) I'm not ready to put this set away yet! What set do you love using over and over again?

Paper Smooches: You're Fabulous

There is nothing better than a quick and easy card. Paper Smooches Blissful Banners  is perfect for pulling together the perfect card. Better yet, they coordinate with the previously released Steamer Dies . :) I started with my banner sentiment for this card. I die cut it and stamped it once, then stamped it again and fussy cut just the sentiment portion so I could pop it up. To finish the banner I inked it up the edges and layered it over a die cut piece, a fussy cut frame and a little thread. The journaling card was precut and I added the stitched edge  (LOVE those new dies!). I hope you are having a great day and enjoyed celebrating the 4th if you are in the USA! :)
