Hi!  I'm back from December break. ;) I have some super exciting product to share right... Bella Blvd has knocked it out of the park with their CHA release. Wow... here is the first peek... I have a soft spot for embellishments. :) My jaw hit the floor when these showed up at my house... I can't wait to use them! Those bows are especially cute, soft (they are made of felt) and the perfect size!    What to see more? Visit the Bella Blvd blog for more pictures AND a GIVEAWAY. Just click HERE .

Mama Elephant: Designer Series Purrfect Pair

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a card using the new Purrfect Pair stamp set. I started off with the two adorable large cats included in the set. I stamped and die cut them, then used Copics to color them in. I love all of the different ways you can colors these cats! They are so much fun! After I finished the cats, I stamped, die cut and colored the sweet bow to dress up the girl cat. I just love the fish bone included in this set so I stamped it on my card base and added the die cut bowl on top. To do this I stamped the entire bowl image (which includes noodles) then I die cut it and trimmed the top off.  I stamped the sentiment on a tag from Slim Tags Trio  and wrapped the end around my card base which was cut from the large frame in the Peek a Frame die set. The stitching detail on the card base and tag are such fun addition that brings a lot of interest to the card. That is my card for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Today I'm joining the Paper Smooches team in the 25 Days of Christmas tags over at In My Creative Opinion !  I used Gift Tags , Cool Dudes  and a sentiment from Chilly Chums . The snowman was colored with Copics and adhered to the tag. I LOVE adding sentiments to tags with smaller tags. :) It's a fun way to make them pop! These two tags are part of a 3 piece set so layering is easy. Thanks Tracey for asking me to join! Now I'm off to go check out some more tags and GIVEAWAY.... HERE .  Have a great day!

Mama Elephant: Balloons

Balloon Letters and Balloon Et Cetera are super awesome! Talk about fun, trendy and cute! Today there are all sorts of cards showing off these two sets over on the Mama Elephant blog . Here are mine... I created this card featuring the Balloons Et Cetera set. First I die cut Hello Script  and laid out the animal balloon stamps to get the perfect placement. I stamped the animals in some of my favorite inks ( Rainwater , Lemongrass  and Lollipop ). Next, I die cut the journaling card from Peek a Frame out of kraft cardstock to make a window. I adhere the hello die to the front and mounted my balloon animals to the back. Then I drew the balloon strings. To finish the card I die cut a few Confetti  pieces, stamped the "sweet thing" from Cross My Heart  and mounted them all to a large blue mat cut from Peek a Frame . Next, I created a card featuring Balloon Letters . It also uses a stamp from Balloon Et Cetera and Pandamonium . First, I decided on the pl

Mama Elephant: Cross My Heart

I adore the Mama Elephant release this month! Today the DT is featuring the Cross My Heart set. I thought it would be fun to make a little love note. :) I started by die cutting the journaling card from Peek a Frame . My card base was custom created to fit the die cut, leaving a nice border. Next I stamped the cat from Purrfect Pair and colored him in. Have I mentioned I LOVE coloring these cats? I have even more ideas coming. ;)  I placed my die cut cat on my card with the other stamps I wanted to used so I could get the placement just  right. Next I stamped the hearts in Blush , the "love you" in Lollipop  and finished off the sentiment in black. A piece of washi and a small twine bow finished the little card. :) Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant: Happy Everything

I'm so excited about the stamps and dies Mama Elephant just released!  For this card, I started by die cutting the largest Peek a Frame die. Next I cut the Index Card die and stamped "happy" in black. There Happy Script  die that perfectly matches the stamp set  so I die cut "happy" and layered it on my card, slightly offset, to create a shadow. So cool! Next, I stamped and fussy cut the panda bears from Pandamonium . I die cut them a pair of speech bubbles from Polaroid Fun . I LOVE how the sentiments fit perfectly in the bubbles! Happy Everything has so many sentiment choices! The card was finished off with a little bit of yellow paper and washi tape. Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Smooches: Cool Dudes

I'll admit it. Snowman stamps are one of my favorites during the holidays. No one makes better snow people than Paper Smooches. :) Just look at this snow couple... I started by blending the horizon with Distress Inks. Next I stamped , die cut and paper pieced the snow couple. My favorite patterned paper right now is THIS one and THIS one from Avery Elle. The colors are bright and the patterns are versatile. The paper pads literately haven't been off my desk since I got them. :) After I adhered the couple to my card, I stamped the sentiment. The card needed a little more and after staring at the sentiment for a few minutes I thought I would make some "heart snow". Ya know, cuz love never melts? So I die cut lots of hearts, smeared them with Wink of Stella and carefully adhered them to my card. :) Thanks for stopping by! What is your favorite Paper Smooches stamp set?

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment. I

Mama Elephant: Designer Series

Hi Everyone! Ashley here, sharing a fun tag highlighting the Block Party Letters stamp set! I started off by stamping my hello sentiment on various colored papers. Before trimming, I colored the shadows black and paper pieced some white in the middle of my letter O. These letters are super straight and are easy to trim out making them ideal for paper piecing or coloring! I accented my fun sentiment with a few die cut penguins from Arctic Penguins  and a heart from Instalove . I placed them all on top of a polaroid, also from Instalove . I created a small piece of faux washi tape by stamping Boutique Borders in Rainwater  ink and trimming it out to go on the top of the polaroid die. Mama Elephant's wide array of dies made it super easy to make a fun tag base using dies from Peek a Frame  and Tags a Lot. Now the tag is ready for a cheerful gift. I finished it off by stapling some twine to the tag and tying it around the handle of my store bought bag.  T

Mama Elephant: Season's Greetings

Mama Elephant's Season's Greetings  is the end all to perfect sentiment sets. I went super modern with this set (at least for me! ha!).  The sentiment inspired my curved blue and green lines cut with Borderlines Trio . I curved the sentiment on my acrlic block to match and stamped it above. I added a snowflake on top, covered with Wink of Stella. The card needed a little something else so I added gold cardstock peeking out from the top and bottom. What is your favorite sentiment from this set?

Mama Elephant: Alpine Carolers

I am overjoyed to share this card created with some of the stamps from the new Mama Elephant Alpine Carolers . They were designed by the mega talented Elena Roussakis! Her style is THE BEST.  I stamped and colored these two carolers. I like to color but I'm not the best so these two have been stamped and colored MANY times at my craft desk! They are so much fun to practice with! My daughter even requested them so she could color them too! :)  They are standing on the banner from Bloomsies . The perfect little heart was cut from the new die cuts Instalove  and cover with Wink of Stella. The carolers were added to a tag from Tags a Lot . I love how the sentiment nestles perfectly beneath the tag! The card was finished with a white mat on red striped patterned paper.

Mama Elephant: Boutique Borders

I've used these borders on most of my cards for the Mama Elephant release this month. They are THAT great and THAT versatile.  I started this card with a few other stamp sets from this release. I stamped the sentiment, using Block Party  Letters, on the journaling card from Peek a Frames . I colored it with Copics then added the peguin from Artic Penguins . I love that there seems to be a penguin perfect for every sentiment under the sun. They have such great personalities! The sentiment needed a cozy background so I stamped the large stripe from Boutique Borders on a kraft card base (cut with Peek a Frames) in a plaid pattern. Super simple. Thanks for checking in today! More fun coming tomorrow!

Crate Paper: Open Book

This is a double post day. See my Mama Elephant post HERE . The new Maggie Holmes collection, Open Book, is full of so many inspiring moments. From great colors to glitter, flowers to thoughtful sentiments, there is something that draws you in and invites you to create. For hours.  When I first sat down with this collection I created four projects. Let's take a look! First I started with the large hello sentiment and layered it with patterned papers, paper embellishments, tags and a label.  The soft black in this collection is such a great balance for all of the color. Next, I embellished a simple box with a buildable flower, tag and die cut shapes.  The sides gave me a chance to add some fun polka dot patterned paper that adds to the whimsy of this collection. There are so many fun book references in this collection. Perfect for scrapbooking every day life but also great for making a bookmark or two! I cut out patterned

Mama Elephant: Peace on Earth

This is a double post day. See my Crate Paper post  HERE . I love the big bold sentiments found in the new Mama Elephant stamp set, Peace on Earth . I started this card by die cutting Femme Frames . The back panel was stamped with the new borders set Boutique Borders . I rotated the angle of the stamp on each side to make a fun trendy background. I love the big bold seniment so I kept it simple in black and finished my card with die cuts from Round and Rounds . These were cut out in white cardstock, inked with Distress inks and then finished off with some clear Wink of Stella. This set is a true classic and a perfect addition just in time for the holidays! :)

Mama Elephant: Artic Penguins + Jolly and Merry

Hi Everyone! This Mama Elephant release is THE BEST! These penguins are my favorite and the pair SO nicely with the rest of the release. For my first card, I die cut the base panel with the large Peek a Frames die. Next I cut a Femme Frames  inner die and stamped it with the Boutique Borders thin stripes in Apple ink.  The next layer is a journaling card die from  Peek a Frames  stamped in  Hazel  with the polka dots from  Boutique Borders . The final layer features the adorable penguin, sliding, holding on the cuppa coffee. All the images are from Arctic Penguin  and Jolly and Merry . These two stamp sets are perfect for one another! I  just couldn't put these penguins down for this release! This time they play more of a supportive roll in holding the ends of the sentiment (isn't Kryssi's handwriting the best!?!?). I double stamped the sentiment with two inks. I especially like the Apple and Coral "jolly". It reminds me of

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
